Speed Dating with Investors

Speed Dating with Investors is designed to provide founders with the opportunity to pitch to many investors in one single event.

The event will feature the following:
- Check-in and Networking
- Presentation by Withum
- Dating Investors: Investors ready to date one-on-one with founders
- Dating Founders: 60 startups only, first come first serve, will pitch to a minimum of 7 investors one at a time 1.5-minute pitch followed by 2.5 minutes of Q&A and feedback.
- Startups will be grouped into 3 groups. Each group, A, B, and C will consist of 20 startups.
- Speed dating starts with group A. Each group will be able to pitch to investors for approximately 40 minutes giving esch startup 4 minutes with each investor followed by 1 minute to transition from one investor to the next. During the transition time, investors will have the opportunity to rate the startups on the Demo Day app. Then we transition to group B then group C. While each startup group is pitching to the sitting investors, the startups that are in the waiting groups will have the chance to network and connect with other investors in the room.
- Food and refreshments will be provided
Rules and Requirements:
- Applicant must be 18+ years of age;
- Business must be active and may be either pre or post revenue but may not be just an idea that has not been launched;
- Business must have at least one full-time founder – 2 or more highly recommended;
- Applicants are allowed only one submission per business;
- Each applicant and business (each application) accepts all the rules, requirements, terms and conditions for the event as such terms may change from time to time without prior notification;
- All participants release the rights to use any audio, video, or media for training and promotional purposes;
- No Refunds – No Exceptions – All Transactions Are Final.
