DESCRIPTION:Los Angeles\, Black Girl Ventures Foundation is heading your wa
 y as the last stop of the 2024 Pitch Season on Thursday\, November 1st! We
  are coming to your city to throw a pitch competition for 7 preselected Bl
 ack and Brown women-identifying founders in your ecosystem.\n\nA BGV Pitch
  Competition is like ‘Shark Tank’ mixed with the elements of a classic
  ‘Rent Party’. At a BGV pitch competition\, the audience decides the w
 inner through Raisify.co\, our voting platform\, with their dollars. The w
 inner is determined by a point system\, not the dollar amount raised. The 
 money raised goes to the founders in the form of a grant despite placement
  in the competition.\n\nThe prizes for the pitch competition are:\n\n 	1st
  place: $10k\n 	2nd place: $6k\n 	3rd place: $2k\n\nAs well as other non-m
 onetary prizes to enhance their businesses.\n\nCome out meet the BGV team\
 , network with other founders\, investors\, and potential customers. Watch
  these amazing 7 founders pitch\, vote with your dollars\, and learn about
  new businesses to interact with. Light refreshments and drinks will be se
 rved. You do not want to miss this super inspirational event. To see other

 ity. This means we want to see ALL Black and Brown women-identifying found
 ers win. We want to help these founders in the communities we serve\, scal
 e and grow their businesses\, gain the capacity to hire in their communiti
 es\, and social capital to meet those who will help them grow in partnersh
